The idea
A tax return is a photograph of a year that is already over. What most people actually want is somebody who will look at it and tell them what to do next.
Mega Financial started where most neighbourhood firms start: preparing returns for people who wanted a person, not a website. That has not changed. What has changed is how much of the rest of the money a client ends up needing help with.
Somebody walks in with a W-2. A few years later there is a 1099 in the pile. Then an LLC, then books that need keeping, then a payroll, then a business return, then a lender asking for financials. That is one relationship, not seven transactions, and it is the reason this office does bookkeeping and payroll and advisory rather than only taxes.
The office is on Gratiot. You can sit down across the desk from the person doing the work, and you can call and get that same person on the phone in June.

April is when we meet most people. It is not when the work stops being useful. Quarterly estimates, books and planning all live between filings.

Mega Financial is led by Larlita Collier, who has prepared returns and kept books for individuals, businesses and organisations across Metro Detroit.
Financial work is a relationship business. You are handing over income records, bank details and Social Security numbers, and you should know who is on the other side of that. The fastest way to find out is to call the office and ask.
